Phimai National Museum is located just a few hundred meters from Phimai Historical Park (with Prasat Hin Phimai). Some impressive lintels, found in various provinces of Northeastern Thailand, are displayed on the ground floor of the museum. There is an other outside area, which almost looks like a storage facility, were many hundreds of lintels and sculptures are present. We were lucky to be able to take some pictures inside, though this seems strictly forbidden for regular visitors to the museum.
